2006 Casual air satisfies, by Laura Stead:
An article in the Northern News (Thursday 19th, January 2006) by Laura Stead provides a closeup on Cafe Conti, as a casual dining experience on Brisbane's northside. The article features a lovely photo of Louise Penfold, and Jeremy Schoch (manager and head chef respectively). Jeremy was kind enough to provide a 'chef's tip', stating:
"Experiment with flavours because you never know if you don't try. Don't be scared to try new things."
2005 Good Life review, by Alison Cotes:
A Wonderful Reward
"It's a question I'm frequently asked: Where can we go for a celebration lunch that offers more than just snacks but isn't a posh restaurant and won't break the budget?

Lin and Graham Penfold are proudly carrying on this honourable heritage, and cater for everyone from the parents-with-prams brigade to people like us, who were celebrating our survival after a complex and stressful enterprise..."
